Why Not Be a Steward!
Two Rivers are actively seeking folk who share our passion for
Community and who would like to give up a little of their time (approx 10 hours
in total across the weekend), expertise and personality over the Weekend in
exchange for a weekend wristband enabling access to all venues and
performances, and a Campsite Pass and complimentary Pitch.
Stewards are an absolutely vital part of the organisation of a Festival
and, for the general public, are the "face" of the event.
Steward duties are naturally varied but include equipment load-in/load
out; traffic control; ticket control; venue management; litter picking;
festival office work; artists liaison etc. Broadly speaking, whatever your
particular skill, we can probably use it !
Even if you've never considered becoming involved in such a way before,
don't really know if you have any relevant skills, but like what we do, submit
an Application Form. Experience is not necessary and age and mobility are
irrelevant as we can probably find something for everyone.
We are sure that you will get back at least as much as you give !
All we ask is that our Stewards take pride in their duties and help to
create an atmosphere of friendly efficiency for our visitors through their
personal attributes and agreement to the Terms and Conditions below.
As a Steward you will be working under one of the Directors of the
Event or under one of the five Event Managers. All are experienced and full
training and much more information will be given at our Stewards Induction
Meetings on site, prior to your first shift.
