THE 2010 CAMPSITE VENUE WILL BE ON THE CENTRE FIELD DETAILS BELOW. EASY WALKING DISTANCE TO TOWN.Camping is paid for seperately. You will need a weekend, Friday, Saturday wristband, a camping ticket, campsite vehicle pass or ceilidh ticket to gain access to the campsite. Parking for non campers is at Chepstow racecourse car park A466. The Two Rivers Folk Festival campsite is built each year at Chepstow Racecourse. The campsite and campers only festival entrance is now through the main racecourse gates off the roundabout on the A466. The site is huge and is entirely within the secure walls of the Racecourse grounds and has designated site access roads. This year the site will be on the centre field of the racecourse giving easy access to the racecourse toilet and shower block which also has a kitchen dining room. The campsite is built on limestone rock and drains extremely quickly. (Even during the weather excesses of 2007 the site remained dry.) The campsite is set in the fabulous scenery of the Wye Valley, yet is well above river/sea level.
Pitch sizes are generous and we always provide far more than the statutory required infrastructure. You won’t be queuing for toilets ! We also provide hot showers, full bar, a campsite shop, performers marquees, a designated quiet area and a dog walking / loo zone. We welcome caravans, campervans, motor homes, trailer tents and tents. we do not allow open air camping or fires. Gas BBQ's are allowed. Campers will be given a welcome pack, town and site map, shuttle timetable on collecting their wristbands on arrival. vehicle passes will either be sent to you or collected from the campsite festival office.
